The significant expansion of semiconductors infrastructure ongoing in the United States presents exciting new opportunities for all ECEs. The ECEs founded semiconductor technologies and everything we do is made possible by semiconductor technology (spanning DC, RF, Microwave, THz to Photonics). It is increasing being realized that ECE are critical and can comprehensively contribute to both hardware and software system design, and our skillset is essential to develope new semiconductor technologies now and in the future.
